Overview

As an Operational Risk Management Intern, you will work closely with the First Line of Defense to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risk remediation efforts. The Operational Risk Management team in Brazil covers both Investment Banking (IB) and Corporate Banking (CB), serving as subject matter experts (SMEs) in Operational, Resilience, Information Security, and IT Risks. With Deutsche Bank expanding its presence in Latin America, this position offers significant growth opportunities.

  • Disseminate risk culture through assessment exercises and training
  • Monitor and report on Risk Appetite metrics
  • Review and challenge Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
  • Track and support remediation efforts
  • Manage and analyze operational risk events
  • Prepare periodic institutional and regulatory reports
  • Assist in the implementation of new regulatory requirements
  • Periodic review of risk policies and procedures.
