Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join the Risk Management function in a hybrid role combining Operational Risk Management responsibilities with direct support to the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the brokerage entity. The role is designed for a candidate with strong analytical skills, regulatory awareness, and the ability to operate in a dynamic financial markets environment. The individual will support the implementation and enhancement of the firms risk management framework, regulatory compliance processes, governance routines, and risk reporting activities across the local entity. This position offers broad exposure to market activities, operational controls, regulatory interactions, governance committees, and strategic risk initiatives.

What Youll Do

  • Risk Appetite monitoring
  • Risk & Control Assessment (RCA): review and challenge
  • Remediation monitoring
  • Operational Event Management
  • Support implementation and monitoring of risk policies, procedures, and governance standards.
  • Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Operations, Technology, Legal, and Front Office teams on risk-related matters.
  • Contribute to business continuity, operational resilience, and control enhancement initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and remediation tracking.
  • Provide direct support to the CRO in day-to-day risk management activities and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, risk summaries, committee materials, and management reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of materials for local governance committees and regional/global stakeholders.
  • Participate in regulatory interactions with local authorities, including preparation of responses and documentation.
  • Help coordinate risk governance processes, action tracking, and follow-up across departments.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the AIR Manual, internal procedures, and risk documentation.
  • Support ad hoc risk analysis related to products, processes, controls, and regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to special projects involving automation, reporting improvements, and risk infrastructure enhancements.

Skills Youll Need

  • 25 years of experience in Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Control, Audit, Compliance, or Financial Services.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking products (Fixed Income and Derivatives).
  • Familiarity with CNBV and Banxico regulatory environments is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
