Overview

As a Site Reliability Engineer within the End User Computing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security, stability, and performance of both corporate and Bring Your Own (BYO) mobile devices. You will support a diverse device ecosystem, including corporate-managed Apple devices (iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks) as well as BYO Apple and Android phones and tablets. Acting as a senior escalation point, you will manage complex incidents, enhance platform stability through observability, and continuously improve operational processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams to plan and execute well-governed, low-risk changes across mobile and macOS platforms. As part of a global follow-the-sun support model, you will provide senior-level coverage for the Americas and early APAC regions, ensuring critical platforms remain secure, reliable, and available for the Banks daily operations.

What Youll Do

• Level 3 incident response you will be the senior escalation point for all mobile & mac production platform issues, investigating the issue to resolution, documenting and providing knowledge to lower teams for repeatable issues, coordinating with engineering, product management, and vendor support teams to identify and remediate issues. You will participate in the post-mortem problem exercises for major incidents

• Change planning and implementation working with our engineering and product teams in an Agile format, you will plan product enhancements and fixes, complete the ITIL change process, and implement the change safely. You will be a key part of the implementation of ongoing enhancements to our product including the development of pipelined configuration deliveries

• Observability and platform health you will develop monitoring solutions with Graph APIs (with Python, PowerShell, or Power Platforms) and other available platforms to help proactively identify issues, and ideally self-heal or automate response

• Disaster recovery you will help ensure compliance with our Disaster Recovery framework, including participation in routine testing, providing technical expertise for testing plans, and automating plans via Ansible, Application Programming Interface (APIs), or other means to minimize human effort

Skills Youll Need

• Proven experience engineering or providing advanced platform support for managed Apple devices preferably both macbooks and mobiles - with an MDM like JAMF or Intune

• Strong understanding and technical troubleshooting skills with Apple macOS

• Proven experience in end-user support, writing clear documentation for end-users and frontline teams, leading incident response and resolution, and participating in resolution of major platform issues

• Experience or knowledge troubleshooting networking concepts like DNS, Traded Credit Positions (TCP) handshake behavior, PAC files

• Familiarity with automation scripting, tooling, and concepts (e.g. APIs, Python, Ansible)

Skills That Will Help You Excel

• Experience with Apple SSO, Microsoft Entra ID identity and authentication concepts including Conditional Access

• Experience providing platform support in large enterprise organizations, or working across global locations

• Experience working in ServiceNow or a similar platform for incident, request, and change management

• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering concepts we are transforming from traditional ops to SRE and are looking for a champion to help drive adoption of SRE concepts in the team

Expectations

It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $ $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidates skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
