Were seeking someone to join our CDRR Technology team as a SRE, in Cyber to offer more services and better user experience to our clients

This is Associate position that provides specialist cyber expertise and creates solutions that protect the organization's systems and networks against actual and potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

What youll do in the role:

  • Within Vault squad you will handle various development, engineering, and operational tasks, ranging from bug fixes, automation, DevOps tasks, and supporting on-call rotation.
  • Working with the Vault squad & wider Technology stakeholders, you will support the continuous improvement of our services through the development, automation, and effective observability solutions
  • Enforce adherence to architectural standards/principles, global product-specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.
  • Working with Technology teams, you will onboard new tools to support business needs and integrate with the Morgan Stanley ecosystem.
  • Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and various Agile ceremonies to help us produce the best product possible.
  • You will deliver knowledge sharing and participate in cross-pollination of good practices and standards across our Vault squad & Data Protection Services, providing documentation, presentations, and internal posting.

What youll bring to the role:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience
  • Experience working with Kubernetes or Golang.
  • Experience working with Public Cloud Providers (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Operational and Engineering experience in managing applications & services in an enterprise environment, rooted in Site Reliability Engineering best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with a collaborative approach. Skills that will help you in the role
  • Experience with HashiCorp products such as Vault/Terraform/Consul> Experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins/Github Actions
  • Experience with Observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog, as well as Observability best practices on Logging, Metrics, Distributed tracing, synthetic monitoring, and alerting.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices, such as encryption at rest and in transit, secret management, and public key infrastructure.
