Your key responsibilities:

  • Support origination and execution of Investment Banking business, with a strong focus in the bond execution, including origination, documentation, marketing, and distribution.
  • Daily tasks will vary depending on the phase of the current transactions, but will frequently include the creation of presentation/pitching material for potential deals, as well as summaries of
  • economic and market developments, recent primary offerings, and secondary trading performance.
  • Analyzing comparable borrowers and assessing appropriate new issue pricing indication in consultation with Syndicate, producing spreadsheet models, roadshow presentations, and due diligence reports.
  • Assist in Due Diligence, deal documentation and internal approvals
  • Handling day to day client queries on all execution related matters
  • Report on performance and targets to senior management of DB when required
  • Ensure compliance with the bank policies and guidelines and mitigate risk appropriately

Your skills and experience:

  • Recent college graduates within 2 years of graduation / 2 years of working experiences.
  • At least 1 years of relevant experience in DCM deals execution.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask across clients, projects and geographies.
  • Strong quantitative skills including experience with financial models and valuation techniques are plus.
  • Strong communication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients.
  • Performing in-depth company and industry research to support live deal execution and pitches.
  • Knowledge of all investment banking products.
  • Educated to university degree level with strong numerical ability.
  • Excellent communication skills with Fluency in both Japanese and English.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
