Position Overview

ICG is a global sales team covering various institutional clients including Hedge Funds, Insurance companies, Asset Managers, Banks, Central Banks, Sovereign Wealth Funds and Private Bank

Your key responsibilities:

  • This role would be responsible for generating detailed product knowledge and cultivating client relationships in order to create a sales strategy in line with the bank's strategy.

  • Developing a deep understanding of client needs and expectations by ensuring regular contact and constantly researching appropriate sales solutions

  • Building working relationships with origination, trading, Syndicate, agency, and operations to ensure effective end to end client/product delivery

  • Operating within the relevant legal, regulatory and bank policy requirements

  • Identifying and contacting prospective clients and building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business

  • Covering predominantly banks and NBFIs across Hong Kong and PRC with a focus on financing and structure credit

Your skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree or above in finance, mathematics, science or commerce.

  • Relevant experiences as financing coverage or private credit and loan sales.

  • Good understanding and knowledge of financing and structure credit products

  • Ability to build institutional client relationships in the greater China region

  • Ability to interact and fit into a regional / global team;

  • Highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to react quickly and efficiently to different queries;

  • Native Mandarin/Cantonese & proficient English is required to liaise with clients across the region.
