Position Overview
Details of the Division and Team:
Deutsche Bank Research generates consistent outperformance for our corporate and institutional clients by providing comprehensive market coverage across multiple asset classes, industries and geographies. We report on relevant trends for the bank in financial markets, the economy and society, highlight risks and opportunities and act as consultant for the bank, its clients and stakeholders. This role will be a part of the market leading Global Emerging Markets Research team at DB, with primary responsibility for covering fixed income markets in Korea and Greater China.

Your key responsibilities:
- Provide strong and consistent coverage of fixed income markets in Korea and Greater China involving timely and insightful analysis, and compelling macro narratives
- Analyze the impact of economic and policy developments on bonds and interest rate swaps and generate impactful trade recommendations for Deutsche Bank’s clients
- Write for regional and global publications on a spectrum of topics from short-term trade ideas and medium-term investment trends to long-term market themes
- Engage constructively with clients and internal stakeholders in meetings, calls, conferences and roadshows
Role is required to be performed primarily on-site at the International Commerce Centre. Relevant health and safety requirements may apply.
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience working in financial markets and/or macroeconomic analysis
Understanding of Korea and/or Greater China markets, the regulatory landscape, policy architecture and market instruments
Experience covering fixed income is preferred, but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including working knowledge of Mandarin and/or Korean
Ability to work well in a team to share ideas, build consensus and craft views
