IB - Financing Originator - VP

Position Overview

Details of the Division and Team:

Financing provides tailored lending solutions to corporates and financial institutions across the credit spectrum and capital structure to a broad range of clients across Australia, New Zealand, and the APAC region.

Within the Financing business, DB operates a market leading ABS business which provides innovative financing solutions to lenders across a wide range of securitized and structured products backed by mortgages, auto and equipment, consumer, and other alternative asset classes. The ABS business also utilises its strong structuring and underwriting capabilities, as well its global franchise, to arrange and distribute primary capital market issuance via public or private offerings.

Your key responsibilities:

• Responsible for origination of Asset Backed Securitisation transactions across the platform

• Responsible for the underwriting, structuring and execution of warehouse financing transactions

• Responsible for developing innovative solutions to meet client’s current and future funding needs

• Responsible for direct engagement with all relevant stakeholders including other syndicate banks, legal advisers, and rating agencies

• Responsible for the structuring, marketing and distribution of public market transactions

Your skills and experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant ABS and structured finance experience

• Experienced originator with a proven track record

• Ideally with a legal or structuring background in private or public credit markets

• Relevant transaction experience and a history of strong productivity

• Demonstrated effectiveness with clients and internal stakeholders

• Strong communication skills and able to engage with senior client contacts

• Collaborative and inclusive approach with a focus on efficiency
