Job Title: FINREG Analyst, AVP

Location: Mumbai, India

Role Description

  • Our Group Reporting – Non financials team owns the preparation of the group-wide internal and external reporting and analysis of Deutsche Bank. We focus on solutions which are based on centralized and standardized processes as well as on strategic tools and with that standardize technologies in an organization that focuses on content. In this environment, you will be part of the team Publications and Filings.
  • The team Publications and Filings is next to other topics responsible for coordinating the preparation of the Group’s financial and regulatory reporting, including the annual, quarterly and regulatory reports such as FinRep, G-SIB, and their publication, including new and future electronic/digital formats such as 20-F, ESEF and ESAP. In this role, you and the team support the coordination of the entire preparation process of the Group reporting and ensure efficient communication with various stakeholders inside and outside of the Finance organization.

Your key responsibilities

  • Supporting the cross-regional coordination of the preparation of the Group’s reports and their publication
  • Support of the conceptual development, preparation and implementation of standardized control processes in the preparation process
  • Ensuring the performance of holistic controls and assisting the organization in the preparation of the reporting
  • Continuous development of improvements in the reporting processes in close cooperation with senior management
  • Coordination of external vendors supporting the preparation process for the reporting
  • Support of the preparation and execution of the filing (including the electronic tagging) with the SEC, national ESMA/ESEF regulations and other regulatory filing
  • Support of related audit activities and other internal and regulatory inquiries
  • With your creativity and enthusiasm for innovation, both in the framework of projects and in a regular reporting process, you continuously develop and improve existing reports and analyze and implement new requirements such as the above mentioned electronic/digital formats

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant experience in CFO and performing quantitative analysis
  • Experience and competence in the design of reports
  • Practical experience in contributing to reporting, ideally in the financial services industry
  • Analytical and conceptual capabilities for the independent and structured solution of problems
  • Experience in project work in order to manage and efficiently accompany the implementation of new requirements
  • 'Hands on' mentality and autonomous and proactive working
  • Excellent knowledge in MS Office applications; knowledge on XBRL, SEC Edgar and the reporting tool Workiva is a plus
  • English fluent in word and writing
  • German language skills preferred or willing to learn German
