Role Description

  • You will work in the Infrastructure CFO team. The team are responsible for managing, reporting, annual planning, re-statement and challenging costs for the Compliance & Anti Financial Crime (C&AFC) function in bank partnering with the business to achieve strategic financial targets and outcomes. The role will be aligned to an ‘Infrastructure Finance – Infra ex Technology Data & Innovation (Infra ex TDI) C&AFC FD team’
  • You will be primarily responsible for managing all financial aspects for the division including functions planning/forecasting & analysis activities, month-end compilation, commentary, requiring a strong knowledge of key finance processes and stakeholder management skills.

Your key responsibilities

Finance Business Advisory Senior Analyst:

  • The role includes ensuring C&AFC costs are accurately accounted and allocated to the consumers.
  • Ensuring smooth & timely delivery on monthly reporting activities.
  • Collaborating with C&AFC COOs, infrastructure FDs, & DBCM Client allocation team to drive transparency on provider spend and client allocations.
  • Restructure and Restatement – responsible for correct C&AFC restatements including allocations.
  • Lead for financial activities & Stakeholder management
  • Support annual planning and monthly actuals reviews
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of any month end finance-related activities e.g. allocation adjustments / forecast to the finance systems and analyze the outcomes.
  • Working with stakeholders and managing them through a structured process to understand their needs, analyze problems and provide solutions.
  • Stakeholder management by prompt response to various queries/issues from Finance directors, Business users etc.
  • Preparation for Senior management reviews like PRMs etc.
  • Ensure standardization and streamlining of processes and implementation of governance framework around the same.

Your skills and experience

  • Professionally qualified person (Postgraduate or Tier I MBA) with >10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Management of high performing teams in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships internally.
  • Strong knowledge of Month-end financial processes, Financial Analysis and Budgeting processes with experience ideally gained from within Financial Services.
  • Good knowledge of CFO structure, set up and drivers.
  • Ideally degree educated university coupled with a related accounting qualification
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent knowledge of the relevant DB financial systems and -processes (e.g. GGL, SAP etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks, and meets strict deadlines.
  • Strong Communication skills required. Ability to converse clearly with regional and global stakeholders/clients
  • Acts with integrity in all interactions with colleagues, team members and clients
