Your key responsibilities
- Lead daily production status calls and ensure incidents are well understood and followed through.
- Manage senior management bridges during critical incidents with clear, structured communication.
- Highlight any risks and concerns identified during the incident. Analyse service performance and resilience issues to improve stability.
- Support risk management and regulatory reporting across the supported applications and help assure compliance to production controls.
- Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and component failure testing.
- Support problem and knowledge management and ensure strong documentation discipline.
- Identify training needs and uplift team capability in managing incident/problem to resolution.
Your skills and experience
- Strong sense of curiosity and able to question assumptions using analytical, problem-solving, and risk awareness skills.
- Innovative, creative, articulate, and able to work directly with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience with Production Application Support Services, ITIL, ITSM process, within a global production operations context
- Ability to manage high pressure incidents with clear communication and sound judgment.
- Ability to develop a strong understanding of end-to-end application/data flows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a personal book of work and communicate progress clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in virtual teams and matrixed global environments.
- Flexible and adaptable to hybrid work arrangements, shift patterns, and weekend work based on business demands.
Skills that will help you excel
- Demonstrated analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- 9+ years of IT experience supporting complex application and infrastructure environments.
- Demonstrated a solid understanding of ITSM processes (e.g. Incident, Problem, Change).
- ITIL certification (Foundation or higher) is a plus.
- Demonstrated a strong understanding of production/operations management practices.
