What you’ll do day-to-day
- Support the investment analyst by conducting research on select internet and technology companies, analyzing market positioning, and tracking major industry KPIs.
- Maintain and update a subset of company and industry models, perform internal due diligence, and prepare research summaries to inform investment analysis.
- Focus on deep dives and diligence questions, acting as an internal consultant to help the team assess business fundamentals.
- Over time, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your coverage and manage research on additional companies or sectors more independently.
Who we’re looking for
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field of study is required; at least two years of experience in finance, consulting, private equity, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and a keen interest in internet and technology sectors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage multiple research projects in a dynamic environment.
- Solid analytical capabilities and a passion for in-depth industry and company research.
- The expected annual base salary for this position is $130,000 to $170,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
