Full Job Description

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania

Join the Markets Post-Trade Technology tribe, which supports all markets through post-trade activities, delivering efficient and reliable back-office IT solutions. 

You will be part of a team of 5 software engineers and 4 business analysts, based across 3 countries, working on building scalable Tax and Xceptor Based services in the cloud with a strategic vendor system that reduces risk whilst enabling and scaling new client value across markets at scalable costs. 

Our technology stack: .NET C#, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, Github Actions, AWS, Openshift. 

We value transparency, collaboration, and mutual support, and work closely with stakeholders. The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office). This role does not include a relocation allowance.

You will: 

  • Build, designing and discuss scalable, secure and innovative technical solutions that address business needs 
  • Participate in reviewing other developers code and provide constructive feedback
  • Handle project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in an agile, self-organizing scrum team
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, ensure alignment across teams 
  • Work together to enhance the development, deployment, and architecture of our applications 
  • Share responsibility for supporting and maintaining our systems in production 

About you: 

  • 4+ years of experience as a C# developer
  • Extensive experience with .NET development, including enhancing and modernising existing codebases to leverage newer frameworks (.NET 10) and adopting containerisation technologies like OpenShift to drive scalability and innovation 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including automating build, test, and deployment processes using Azure DevOps (with Azure Pipelines and YAML) and GitHub Actions 
  • Knowledge of general software modelling and engineering disciplines and principles 
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design principles
  • Willingness to learn, continuously improve and positive attitude \ Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Advanced English skills
