The Finance Tribes mission is to ensure Danske Bank realizes its full financial potential - benefiting customers, colleagues, society, and investors - by building a financially solid foundation. We accomplish this by efficiently managing and steering the banks finances.
We are the Customer Profitability squad within the Finance Tribe - a dynamic and geographically diverse team consisting of Business Analysts (BA), Data Engineers and Cloud Platform specialists based in Denmark and Lithuania. We follow an agile framework, with our Product Owner located in Lithuania. As BA you will be part of the BA chapter, which is led by a dedicated Chapter Lead.
Our squad delivers a solid data foundation & reports enabling advisors, performance management and other decision makers to efficiently assess customer profitability. We secure profitability setup by continuous optimization and ongoing support of our data.
We are seeking a business analyst to join our team and play a key role in shaping decision-making through data analysis. In this position, you will also focus on fostering effective collaboration with stakeholders across the organisation. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities will be crucial for addressing complex data challenges and delivering end results.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, continuously enhancing their skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate excels at analysing data and working collaboratively to develop practical solutions that align with our strategic goals.
You Will:
- Support monthly data updates: Ensure timely and accurate updates of customer profitability data to meet ongoing reporting and analysis needs.
- Perform data analyses: Conduct detailed analyses, interpret results, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Describe requirements for developers: Collaborate with the Product Owner and IT developers to articulate business requirements for system enhancements and new features, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
- Maintain data governance: Uphold data governance standards to ensure data integrity, compliance, and security across the organisation.
- Continuous improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of data outputs.
- Stakeholder engagement: Engage regularly with key stakeholders to gather feedback, share findings, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
About You:
- Strong technical skills, preferably in SQL, Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Result-oriented with a positive mindset and proactive can-do attitude
- Eager to learn and improve
- Advanced English skills (spoken and written)
- Bachelors degree in formal sciences (IT, economics, mathematics, etc.) would be considered an advantage
