Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled professional to drive cloud adoption, lead migration projects, design secure and scalable applications, and empower others with expertise in cloud technologies. Collaborating with a diverse group of colleagues, you will implement cutting-edge solutions and make a meaningful impact on our technology landscape.
Your tasks
- Migrate on-prem solutions to Google Cloud Platform
- Implement cloud-native applications and solutions
- Develop and maintain software solutions
- Leverage new technology to develop future-proof software solutions
- Connect cloud and on-prem technologies
- Integrate security standards, policies, and controls into service offerings
- Work closely with other developers that are not familiar with cloud technologies
- Design secure software solutions
- Drive cloud adoption as knowledge multiplier
Your profile
- Study of computer science or comparable IT training and experience in practical software development
- Expertise in cloud-native application development
- Expertise of Google Cloud Platform (optional: certification of Google Cloud Provider)
- Experience in design/architecture of cloud solutions
- Expertise in software development standards like Git, CI/CD, microservices, and APIs
- Experience in programming and scripting (e.g. Python and JavaScript)
- Experience of Infrastructure as Code Solutions via Terraform
- Basic Knowledge of Containerization and Docker
- Familiarity with network, application, and information security approaches
- Understanding of Agile methodology and related tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as independent working methods and creativity
- Eager to shaping the future and thinking out-of-the-box
- Ability to adapt and learn new concepts and technologies quickly
- Very good knowledge of English in both word and writing
