Full Job Description

The IT Business Analyst I serves a partner with the development teams to provide an integrated solution for a given system. With supervision from an analysis project lead, the IT Business Analyst I contributes to the detailed analysis and solution validation for small projects or enhancements. The incumbent must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and excellent problem solving skills.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Analysis Planning, Monitoring, and Communication: Responsible for executing the tasks outlined in the analysis plan. Provided oversight and supervision by a project lead or manager.
  • Detailed Analysis: For a primary system, contributes to the detailed analysis activities such as detailed requirements, user stories, interface specs, UI specs, and report specs. Provided oversight and supervision by a project lead or manager.
  • Knowledge Management: Contributes with supervision to the knowledge base for a primary system, including both project artifacts and living artifacts.


Skills & Software Requirements:

  • Novice in Requirements Management Tools, Knowledge Management Tools, Collaboration Tools, Visual Modeling Tools, Data Modeling Tools, and Automation Tools

Actual pay offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education, location of the internship, and the internship area of focus.
