About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically curious Data Engineering Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on exposure to data integration, ETL/ELT pipeline development, and data platform engineering, working alongside experienced professionals on production-grade systems.

This internship is ideal for candidates who want practical experience in modern data architectures and scalable data processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting data from multiple sources

  • Support data integration across internal systems, APIs, and external data providers

  • Develop and optimize data transformation workflows for structured and semi-structured data

  • Work with large datasets to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability

  • Collaborate with analytics and AI teams to provision clean, usable datasets

  • Contribute to data modeling, schema design, and storage optimization

  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows

  • Document data flows, pipeline logic, and engineering processes

  • Follow best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization

Required Qualifications

  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 or recent graduates with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.

  • Fresher or up to 6 months of experience.

  • Strong understanding of Databases and SQL, Data structures and basic algorithms

  • Willingness to work night shift hours

  • Availability to work on-site twice per week

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and documentation abilities

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with:

    • Python, SQL, or similar languages

    • Data pipelines and workflow tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, etc.)

    • Cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, etc.)

  • Familiarity with:

    • Data warehousing concepts and architectures

    • APIs and data ingestion patterns

  • Basic understanding of distributed data processing concepts
