Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Capital Markets Associate to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of DCM transactions and ECM transactions . This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, as well as the ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for international bond offerings, mediumterm note programmes, regulatory capital instruments, hybrid securities, and equitylinked products such as convertible and exchangeable bonds
Liaise with regulatory authorities, stock exchanges, and other stakeholders to facilitate the issuance of debt and equity securities
Conduct legal research and advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and market practices in capital markets
Collaborate with crossborder teams to ensure seamless transaction execution
Participate in client meetings and calls to discuss transaction structures and legal issues
Strong academic background in law, finance, or related disciplines
24 years of relevant experience in capital markets at a leading law firm or financial institution
Solid understanding of international capital markets, securities laws, and regulatory frameworks
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a clientfocused mindset
Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin in required
