Job Overview

The Services Sales Enablement & Content Lead is an SVP-level position reporting to the Global Services Sales Business Execution Head. This person will define and execute an end-to-end Sales Enablement and Content Management agenda, working closely with Sales, Product and Marketing partners across Services (Payments, Liquidity, Trade, Investor and Issuer). A key component of this role will be to help design the Workforce of the Future, with particular emphasis on how the ever-evolving AI landscape can be leveraged to empower our sales teams.

In partnership with Sales and Product Senior Management, you will help translate their requirements into a vision for how we future-skill our ~1,500 person sales team. You will also work closely with our Business Execution, Cluster, and Learning & Development teams - as well as partner businesses such as Banking, Markets, Wealth, and the Client Organization - to define and manage the content used to drive client engagements, using best-in-class digital solutions such as Seismic, as well as evaluating external vendors for new solutions. In the process, you will develop a deep understanding of the breadth and depth of Services' industry-leading capabilities while building relationships across a broad set of businesses and functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the end-to-end Sales Enablement agenda, working closely with Sales Heads and the Sales Business Execution Lead to define the scope, roadmap, and deliverables

  • Support the Business Lead as a key member of the Workforce of the Future (WOTF) Initiative, with a particular emphasis on future-skilling sales professionals within the rapidly-evolving AI landscape

  • Define and implement persona-based enablement curriculums for the sales teams, and track via standardized analytics and reporting

  • Evaluate and potentially implement vendor solutions, particularly offerings focused on soft-skill development

  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Learning & Development teams to create and catalog digital content

  • Periodically present to Services Executive Management Team on priorities and key deliverables

  • Track capabilities across the industry - via news, vendor discussions, and potentially trade conferences - to ensure that Citi is best positioned for success

  • Engage regularly with sales teams across all Services lines to inform them of developments and key deliverables, including written and verbal communication

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services

  • Experience working in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders

  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and technology, particularly transaction banking, custody and fund management, and Issuer Services

  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal direction

  • Proven ability to work in a team of diverse skill sets and cultures

  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments

  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication; confidence to engage directly with senior management

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master's degree preferred
