Job Overview

Citi's Services organization provides an integrated suite of innovative and tailored cash management and

trade and working capital solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector

organizations. Citi's Trade & Working Capital business is the market leader in delivering global trade and

working capital financing solutions across sectors.

The Receivables Finance product manager is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. The role will be responsible for end-to-end product management, providing strategic advisory to Banking, Sales and Risk for Receivables Finance transactions. The candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills and communication skills required for expansion of Receivables Finance wallet share.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Development
  • Develop and execute a forward-looking strategy for the Receivables Finance product, defining the go-to-market approach and delivery model for the region.
  • Lead the development of new capabilities to address emerging market needs, including inventory finance, securitization, and alternative distribution models.
  • Collaborate with global and regional product teams to ensure strategic alignment and drive innovation.
  • Business Growth & Commercialization
  • Partner with Banking & Sales teams to identify and pursue new market opportunities, providing expert advisory on deal structuring and commercialization.
  • Contribute directly to achieving acquisition targets, revenue growth, and overall financial performance goals for the product portfolio.
  • Develop and execute action plans to address Voice of the Client (VOC) feedback, enhancing client satisfaction and product-market fit.

Portfolio & Operational Excellence

  • Work with Portfolio Management and Finance teams to optimize Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) and returns for the portfolio.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to enhance product delivery, focusing on timely, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain all product documentation, including Product Approval Programs, ensuring all processes are current and followed rigorously.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Champion a robust risk management culture, collaborating with TTS Risk, Banking, and Independent Risk to maintain a strong and acceptable risk profile for the portfolio.
  • Ensure strict adherence to the Receivables Finance governance framework, presenting all transactions to designated committees and implementing all required approvals and feedback.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors / University degree or Equivalent experience.
  • Masters degree is Good to Have.
  • Strong understanding of legal, accounting, documentation and accounting concepts applicable to Receivables Finance products.
  • 8+ years of relevant product management and structuring experience across Asian markets.
  • Knowledge of the Citi infrastructure, processes and risk management practices is an advantage.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
