Job Overview

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading the end-to-end transformation of Citis Global Offboarding function, establishing and executing Citi's enterprise-wide employee separation strategy. In-depth understanding of how the offboarding function contributes to achieving the organizations objectives. A good understanding of the industry, regulatory landscape, and employment law across multiple jurisdictions is essential. Requires thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the offboarding function within HR Delivery, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required to influence and negotiate internally at senior levels. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.

Responsible for designing and executing the Global Offboarding strategy. Determines approach to implementing transformation initiatives across all regions and locations. Accountable for end results, strategic planning. Impact reflects enterprise-wide scope, strategic influence on the business, and extensive interaction with multiple functions and businesses globally.  The role holder will be part of the HR Delivery leadership team.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of offboarding specialists

  • Responsible for designing and implementing a multi-year transformation roadmap for employee offboarding, aligned to Citis priorities.

  • Translate offboarding transformation vision into actionable strategies, capability development plans, and change management initiatives that extend across all businesses and regions.

  • Drive operational efficiency improvements, reduce process variation, eliminate gaps in service delivery, and support innovation through continuous process enhancement

  • Implement enhanced controls, technology solutions, and automation to minimize errors, strengthen governance frameworks, and ensure audit readiness across all geographic regions

  • Establish quality metrics and performance indicators that ensure consistent execution of separation activities

  • Develop executive reporting, trend analysis, and predictive models that provide leadership with actionable intelligence regarding workforce dynamics and organizational health

  • Obtain executive sponsorship for transformation initiatives and mediate competing priorities among diverse stakeholders to ensure alignment on timely delivery of critical projects.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration on enterprise-level topics related to workforce planning, organizational restructuring, and separation excellence

  • Identify risks that may impact delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed appropriately

  • Involved in medium to long-term planning for broad issues affecting employee separations and organizational effectiveness

  • Applies comprehensive industry knowledge and understanding of how the offboarding function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business goals

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years relevant experience in HR Operations, Transformation & delivery with prior experience managing Offboarding across multiple geographies.


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred and managerial experience
