USCC In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk (IBCFR) - Intermediate Business Analyst for Third-Party Management

Empower strategic risk management and drive operational excellence within USCC's In-Business Credit & Franchise Risk (IBCFR) function. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our third-party workforce, ensuring robust compliance, and delivering critical analytical capabilities.

This dynamic role demands a proactive leader who can seamlessly bridge operational oversight with strategic financial acumen. You will be instrumental in managing vital third-party vendor relationships, ensuring seamless project and analytics engagements across IBCFR, and safeguarding the firm's reputation through rigorous risk and compliance adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vendor & Expense Management: Spearhead comprehensive vendor expense tracking, meticulously forecasting monthly expenditures, and providing insightful updates to key internal stakeholders, directly influencing financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Contract Lifecycle Leadership: Orchestrate end-to-end contract creation and renewal processes, collaborating with USCC Leadership, Finance, Procurement, and other critical teams. Drive the preparation of Global Deal Review Framework (GDRF) decks to secure essential plan approvals.
  • Risk & Compliance Guardianship: Ensure full compliance with Citi 3rd party management policies. Proactively manage and transparently report control issues related to vendor management, ensuring zero compliance gaps and upholding the highest standards of regulatory adherence.
  • Operational Streamlining: Facilitate all aspects of vendor management, including efficient invoice processing, precise contractual amendments, and strict adherence to Citi's global policies and procedures.
  • Talent Onboarding & Integration: Collaborate closely with vendor partners and offshore teams to streamline the hiring, onboarding, and training of new personnel, ensuring full compliance with Citi's guidelines, policies, and established procedures.
  • Proactive Risk Assessment: Consistently apply sound judgment to assess and mitigate risk in all business decisions, championing the firm's reputation and protecting Citigroup, its clients, and assets. Drive compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, meticulously adhering to policy, and promptly escalating any potential concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in risk management, financial services, third-party vendor management, or a related field.
  • Analytical Acumen: Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills with a proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Executive Communication: Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations that effectively communicate intricate analytical findings to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Strong track record in leading cross-functional projects, managing resources, and engaging effectively with internal audit and external regulators.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proficient in end-to-end project planning and management across various organizational levels, ensuring timely and successful delivery of initiatives.
