Your role
As a Senior Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical telecom charging and billing platforms.
Your tasks
- providing daytoday production support, monitoring, and maintenance for Oracle BRM, ECE, PDC, and OCOMC components;
- handling incidents, service requests, problem management, RCA, and defect resolution in line with ITIL processes;
- monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to ECE rating pipelines, BRM opcodes, and OCOMC cartridges;
- performing log analysis, performance tuning, and proactive issue resolution to ensure SLA compliance and system stability;
- supporting High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities, including environment validation and failover testing;
- executing and supporting daily and monthly billing cycles and related operational activities;
- collaborating closely with L1/L2/L3 support teams to resolve complex application and system issues;
- participating in oncall, rotation, and overtime support, including support outside standard business hours for critical incidents;
- coordinating upgrades, patches, and environment maintenance activities;
- coordinating and monitoring BRM integrations with Siebel, OSM, AIA, and related systems;
- working in onshore/offshore delivery models, collaborating with crossfunctional and geographically distributed teams;
- preparing and maintaining support documentation, SOPs, KT materials, and deployment guides;
- coordinating auditrelated activities and ensuring operational compliance;
- managing and coordinating weekly and monthly releases endtoend in collaboration with Operations, Development, and other stakeholders.
Your profile
- handson experience with Oracle BRM, ECE, PDC, and OCOMC;
- strong technical expertise in:
- ECE, Oracle Coherence, online charging concepts, traffic data, and CDRs
- BRM opcodes, CM, DM, REL
- Suspense recycling and REL rejection clearance
- OCOMC and cartridge configuration
- solid understanding of RxDOD framework, endtoend architecture, and BRM integrations with Siebel, OSM, and AIA;
- strong debugging, performance analysis, and log monitoring skills;
- good understanding of Diameter protocols (Gy, Sy, etc.) and ability to analyze Diameter traces;
- experience working in distributed onshore/offshore delivery models;
- ability to write and understand SQL queries and solid knowledge of Oracle Database concepts;
- handson experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools, including incident, problem, and change management;
- experience using Confluence, Jira, and similar collaboration tools;
- exposure to automation, scripting, and performance testing;
- experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Git) and configuration management;
- strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in target architecture.
Nice to have:
- Oracle BRM / ECE certification;
- exposure to PCRF and OCS integration;
- knowledge of CloudNative technologies, Kubernetes;
- good understanding of 3GPP charging standards (4G / 5G).
