The Opportunity
Capgemini is seeking a director professional for Engagement Executive role.
Account/Engagement Leadership Responsibilities:
- Function as Account/Engagement Head
- Work with Transition lead for a smooth handover from transition
- Accountable and Responsible for Service Delivery - Performance delivery of all in scope activities
- Manage the engagement effectively through a team of talented Senior Managers and Operating Managers
- Manage adherence to Process controls (client & CG)
- Attrition & Knowledge Management
- Process Improvements and Initiatives
- Coordination with Support team leads and Onshore Client facing teams includes contracting, legal, transformation, IT, etc
- First Point of escalation for Service Delivery
- Engage & partner with client leadership independently
- Partner/Participate with client leadership on Engagement initiatives and future growth opportunities in conjunction with other client facing teams
- Own the financials for the engagement
- Participate in Annual Budgeting exercise
Domain and Process:
- Manage controllership functions with expertise to ensure smooth delivery
- Strong domain knowledge of Insurance Finance & Accounting; core accounting functions
- Should have worked in US Life Insurance Financial Controllership/Reporting including GL Close and Reporting (US GAAP/STATE Department of Insurance/NAIC Regulatory Reporting) through the tenure
- Should be able to guide teams on permitted and prescribed practices as per US State Department of Insurance
- At least 8 to 10 years experience (out of the overall experience) in leading, reviewing and monitoring teams involved in US GAAP/NAIC regulatory reporting processes knowledge of state filings, registrant filings (Form 10K/Q), Blue/Green Books for US Life Insurance Entity
- Responsible for achieving SLAs & Key Process Indicators for all in scope activities
- Conduct internal process audits & process reviews for ensuring strict adherence to the process parameters/systems as per defined guidelines
- Ensure Documentation guidelines are adhered to as per contract
- Perform Root cause and action plan analysis for issues/concerns
- Monitor Process Health
- Instrumental in driving Process Improvement between Cross Functional Teams; Drive Efficiencies / Productivity
People:
- Recruit and manage high-end talent
- Responsible for managing, motivating, developing, and appraising direct & indirect reports to create a participative work environment that meets organizational/business goals.
- Build structured plans for retention strategy, succession planning, and individual development plans.
Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain relationships with demanding clients to achieve quality product and service norms.
- Governance: Hold weekly/monthly/quarterly review meetings with stakeholders (internal and external) at an engagement/account level, and conduct other operations review meetings for overall departmental progress and review.
