YOUR ROLE

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for the onsite supervision of mechanical works during projects and shutdowns within refinery or petrochemical environments. This role is highly operational and sitefocused, requiring strong field presence, technical judgment, and strict adherence to safety, quality, and execution standards.

You can expect to act as the primary interface with contractors, ensuring mechanical activitiesstatic equipment, rotating machinery, and pipingare executed in line with the approved programme, technical documentation, and applicable standards. Early detection of deviations, enforcement of corrective actions, and continuous monitoring of work quality are central to the role.

This position suits professionals who are comfortable working in demanding site conditions, coordinating multiple activities simultaneously, and contributing actively to safety excellence and operational readiness.

What you can expect in the role:

  • Onsite supervision of mechanical works (static equipment, rotating machinery, and piping) during shutdowns and projects
  • Daily coordination with contractors, verifying work execution against schedule, drawings, and standards
  • Management of work permits as requester, ensuring full alignment with site safety systems and procedures
  • Continuous inspection of works in progress, early identification of deviations, and enforcement of corrective actions
  • Monitoring and validation of installation measurements and units of work
  • Active support to Safety Coordination and participation in the site Prevention Programme
  • Witnessing of tests and inspections in accordance with the approved quality plan
  • Review of contractor quality procedures and verification of compliance with applicable standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Academic background in Mechanical Engineering, with application in industrial operations environments
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting or executing mechanical works in refineries and petrochemical plants, covering Rotating, Piping, and Static equipment
  • Able to work in a hybrid model (3 days on site / office)
