Job Title: Business Analyst Securitization & Credit Risk (Core Banking)

Location: London/Knutsford

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in Asset Securitization and Credit Risk reporting. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, driving data-focused initiatives across multiple platforms.

Hybrid working:

The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog for securitization initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities
  • Collaborate closely with CME business stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize requirements
  • Drive end-to-end delivery across Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and FDP/EDP platforms
  • Partner with data engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable data solutions
  • Develop Logical & Conceptual Data Models (LCM/LCT) and Business Objects (BO)
  • Validate UAT results, identify gaps, and proactively mitigate risks
  • Ensure accurate data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting to support business and regulatory needs

Your Job

  • Strong understanding of Asset Securitization lifecycle and processes

In-depth knowledge of:

  • Deal structures, SPVs, and transaction data flows (daily/monthly cash settlements)
    Hands-on experience in:
  • SQL, data mapping, and reconciliations
    Strong knowledge of:
  • Credit Risk regulatory reporting
  • ESMA reporting (Annex 1,2,3,7)
  • RWA calculation and Basel II reporting
    Experience in:
  • Data Governance, CDE identification, and building Data Quality (DQ) checks
    Strong understanding of Data Architecture
    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of Mortgage, Loan, and Credit Card product data
  • Familiarity with ABS Suite or EURO ABS Credit Risk reporting
