About the role

The Delivery Manager plays a critical role translating strategy into actionable steps and driving successful delivery of products, platforms, and services. This hands-on role is focused on day-to-day decision-making and ensuring the right products, platforms and services are being built and delivered efficiently. This role makes key decisions on feature development that aligns to the digital strategy, balances competing customer priorities, and ensures that deliverables are built to meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. They work closely with multi-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs, enabling the seamless delivery of impactful solutions.

You will work with

This role works with the Finance Technology team, which delivers digital solutions and support for critical business operations globally. It collaborates with central teams to provide standardised, global solutions while remaining closely aligned to specific business needs and innovation opportunities.

You will deliver

  • End-to-end ownership of delivery and ongoing performance of a technology product/platform/service, including post-launch outcomes, reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Strong DevOps and operational delivery (buildrun integration), ensuring solutions remain effective, secure, and aligned to business objectives after launch.
  • Proven vendor/partner management capability, including delivery accountability, commercial awareness, and driving quality outcomes through third parties.
  • Demonstrable experience establishing delivery governance and cadence, aligning teams through structured planning and inspection/adaptation cycles (e.g., PI/iteration rhythms).
  • Ability to manage delivery health using objective metrics, creating tooling (e.g., ADO dashboards) to track predictability, flow efficiency, lead/cycle time, and throughput/velocity trends.
  • Strong dependency, risk, and issue management, proactively identifying blockers and driving credible remediation plans based on data from delivery tools.
  • Experience translating ambiguous problems into executable plans, shaping outcomes into deliverable increments and maintaining a working software over documents bias.
  • Comfort operating in complex governance and assurance environments, balancing pace with controls, security, and operational readiness.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams through change, ensuring adoption is supported by comms, enablement, and operational handover embedded in the delivery approach.
  • Strong ownership and accountability behaviours, with the confidence to challenge scope, timelines, and priorities to protect outcomes and customer impact
