About the role:

The Category Delivery Advisor supports delivery of bps Technical Solutions India (TSI) procurement category activities across India.
In this role, you will help align category delivery with global procurement strategy and regional business priorities, while supporting suppliers and customers to deliver value, efficiency and compliance.

What youll be responsible for:

  • Support delivery of TSI procurement category plans aligned to regional, asset and business priorities
  • Partner with global category teams, regional procurement, and FB&T to deliver sourcing and demand plans
  • Act as a key regional point of contact for suppliers, supporting effective relationship management and performance
  • Collaborate across procurement to share guidelines and improve category efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work with the business to gather demand, challenge requirements where appropriate, and enable value creation
  • Support supplier performance management, raising issues where needed to prevent risk or value leakage
  • Contribute to safe, compliant, driven and riskmanaged procurement outcomes

Ways youll collaborate:

  • Work closely with procurement colleagues, the business and suppliers to foster a one team approach
  • Build strong understanding of regional and asset needs and represent these within the wider category team
  • Engage customers through clear communication, influencing and constructive challenge
  • Support transformation and modernization initiatives that improve regional category delivery and build incremental value

What youll bring:

  • Knowledge of procurement and category management principles
  • Ability to quickly understand business priorities and align them with category strategies
  • Experience working with customers in complex or multinational environments
  • Strong communication, influencing and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Commercial awareness and problemsolving capability
  • Confidence working with suppliers and supporting change initiatives

Desirable experience:

  • Exposure to procurement in operations, energy, or Oil & Gas environments
  • Experience with contracting models, supplier management or operational procurement
  • Familiarity with P2P systems
