I have been very fortunate. Within a year of joining BCG, I was ring-fenced into the climate and sustainability practice area. And being a part of this practice area, gave me the opportunity to work on amazing, moonshot projects. Let me give you two examples. In my first project, I devised the decarbonization strategy of a large urban regeneration project. Not only was the strategy very successful, it also inspired other real estate projects to incorporate sustainability into their construction and decision-making processes. A second example is when I worked on the net-zero strategy for the transportation sector of a GCC economy. We're talking about 20% of the nation's CO2 emissions, which are now on their way to zero, thanks to the net-zero strategy we put in place. Needless to say, being a climate consultant has helped me touch many lives.
