We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Executive Assistant, to support a Senior Executive in New York

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the Senior Executive leading a complex business unit, with frequent interaction at the leadership level.
  • Proactively address and resolve highly complex issues escalated to the Senior Executive’s office, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion.
  • Manage the Senior Executive’s calendar, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel logistics to ensure seamless operations.
  • Lead the planning and execution of intricate administrative assignments, including organizing conferences, roundtables, and speaking engagements—overseeing material production, scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder communications.
  • Independently triage and prioritize a wide spectrum of requests, questions, and challenges directed to the Senior Executive’s office, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior executives.
  • Demonstrated autonomy in anticipating needs and proactively troubleshooting a diverse range of issues.
  • Calm, professional presence with the ability to instill confidence in key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • High level of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
