We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Relationship Associate to join our Global Payments & Trade team. This role is located in Taiwan (Taipei).

This role will be responsible for client coverage across Financial Institutions, including banks and NBFI. The successful candidate will support relationship management, drive business development, and coordinate cross-functional support tailored to the needs of institutional clients.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Client Obsession

Support Relationship Managers (RM) in driving growth within the Banks/Financial Institutions segment by proactively engaging clients through strategic initiatives. This includes conducting in-person bank branch visits to strengthen relationships, uncover new business opportunities, and directly influence revenue growth. Additionally, contribute to client-centric planning by gathering feedback, identifying unmet needs, and collaborating on tailored solutions that enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

• Business Strategies

Help RM to develop business strategies and account plans by leveraging deep research, financial modeling, and product knowledge. Align these strategies with broader market trends and internal capabilities to ensure relevance and feasibility. Regularly review performance metrics and help RM to adjust plans to optimize outcomes, ensuring alignment with both client goals and organizational priorities.

• Sales Pitches

Assist RM to design compelling sales pitches that clearly articulate value propositions and address client-specific challenges. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams—including product, legal, compliance, and operations—to ensure seamless implementation of solutions. Tailor messaging to resonate with diverse stakeholders, from front-line users to executive decision-makers.

• Know Your Customer (KYC) Reviews

Serve as the central point of contact for all internal and external KYC-related requests, including AAR, PR, RFI, High risk memo and, etc.. Coordinate across compliance, legal, and client-facing teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of reviews. Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risk and support business continuity.

• Data Quality

Take ownership of data integrity within CRM systems by ensuring accurate, complete, and timely updates. Implement quality control checks and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. Support a data-driven culture, enabling better decision-making and more effective client engagement strategies.

• Ad Hoc Analysis

Produce insightful ad hoc analyses to monitor sales performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for growth. Use data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and actionable format. These analyses inform strategic decisions and help Relationship Managers and leadership teams deliver greater value to clients.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required, while an Advanced / graduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of total work experience in Banking Industry.
  • Relationship Management or Global Payments experience preferred.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated planning, negotiation, organizational and analytical skills.
  • An understanding of Global Payments & Trade / Transaction Banking is required.
  • Worked in a similar role within Financial Services/ Banking.
  • Proven relationship management experience and a well-established network of Banks and Non-Banks Financial Institutions.
  • Firm grasp of financial services markets and regulatory framework.
  • Strong core competency in Transaction banking products and services sales, especially with prior experience in US banks for clearing, FX payments, Trade Finance, Liquidity management solutions.
  • Experienced in negotiating agreements for inter-bank transactions, for example, nostro account agreement, MRPA, Master Trade Loan Agreement etc.
  • Good working knowledge of using data analysis tools such as Swift.com Banking Analytics, Swift Traffic etc.
  • Strong experience in KYC/AML risk and control process for Banks.
