We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate to join our Recovery and Resolution Forecasting team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses, data gathering, calculations, and forecasting related to the firm’s liquidity and capital risk
  • Enhance and manage processes that quantify, review, and explain financial and risk insights across products and businesses
  • Develop analytics for senior stakeholders across Treasury, Risk, and Finance, driving actionable insights that power decision-making
  • Interact with stakeholders across the departments to facilitate timely liquidity and capital management and build a broad range of knowledge
  • Partner with Treasury experts to align reporting with corporate strategy and initiatives
  • Maintain process controls, documentation, and risk assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in liquidity risk management, regulatory reporting, or a related field
  • Knowledge and understanding of Bank’s balance sheet, liquidity, and/or capital management
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent oral and written communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, SQL

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $57,500 and $102,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
