Job Description:

  • Establish and grow relationships with distribution partner home offices, business leads, research teams, fund origination and operations professionals, and provide on-going sales and support to build Blackstone brand awareness, thought leadership and deliver sophisticated alternative product solutions to our key distribution partners in Japan

  • Collaborate closely with internal Blackstone colleagues across the firm, including within and outside of Private Wealth and the investment business units to build pipelines, generate home office interest, onboard funds, and partner on fundraising

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and strengthen relationships across Blackstone’s distribution partnerships

  • Support our distribution partners in improving their profitability by encouraging the integration of our products and services into their business strategies.

  • Provide on-going service, support and product education to relationships

  • Seek new relationships that broaden distribution, increase sales and enhance profitability

  • Work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment

Qualifications:

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.  The successful candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 2-5 years’ experience in asset management industry

  • Direct experience as a key account manager with major brokers or mega banks in Japan

  • Demonstrate passion for alternative investments and wealth market

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English

  • Good presentation and public speaking skills

  • Must be a self-starter and independent
