About this role

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and own scalable data platforms that support analytical and modeling workloads. This role focuses on building reliable, highquality data infrastructure optimized for Snowflake and cloud environments, while partnering closely with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and own scalable data models and data infrastructure optimized for Snowflake
  • Develop and maintain reliable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and curate largescale datasets
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, analysts, and modelers to translate requirements into efficient data designs
  • Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data reliability
  • Optimize data workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
  • Use AIassisted engineering tools to improve development speed, code quality, and documentation, following appropriate governance and controls
  • Standardize deployment processes and ensure production readiness, reliability, and SLA adherence
  • Contribute to best practices for data engineering, security, and operational excellence

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong handson experience with Python, with 6+ years of professional development experience
  • Proven experience building ETL pipelines, data curation frameworks, and analytical workloads on distributed systems
  • Experience designing and implementing largescale data ingestion pipelines using industrystandard tools
  • Solid understanding of database internals, performance optimization, and data modeling concepts
  • Experience using AIbased development tools (such as coding assistants) for development, troubleshooting, and documentation, with a strong understanding of data privacy, intellectual property, and responsible AI use

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production support models
  • Experience optimizing workloads for cloud cost and performance
