Job description
Berenberg is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for their Bank Management Technology department in Hamburg. The role involves developing and enhancing IT systems within the Tax domain, working in an agile environment with modern technologies and microservices architecture.
Responsible for developing and further improving existing microservices and self-contained systems architecture, working proactively as a software engineer and process optimizer within an agile product team in the Tax environment. Key responsibilities include full-stack development, supporting the entire development lifecycle from analysis to operation.
Requirements include a completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification, strong knowledge of Java and Spring, basic understanding of JavaScript frameworks like Angular, SQL, and Kubernetes. Experience with cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure), message queues, development tools, and containerization technologies is advantageous. Candidate should be self-motivated and willing to independently learn new technologies.
