Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze the creditworthiness of counterparties and financial institutions to determine appropriate risk exposure

  • Prepare and review credit proposals, supporting transaction approvals and ongoing client assessment

  • Monitor credit risk across portfolios, identifying emerging risks and ensuring exposures remain within limits

  • Assess risks related to financial products, including complex and derivative transactions

  • Conduct ongoing due diligence on existing and prospective clients, tracking market and industry developments

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate credit ratings and limits

  • Collaborate with front office and support functions to support timely deal execution and effective risk mitigation

  • Produce regular risk reports and respond to ad hoc credit and analysis requests

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial analysis (experience with financial institutions is a plus)

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial statements and risk metrics

  • Good understanding of financial markets and products, including derivatives (preferred), as well as trading documentations (ISDA/CSA/GMRA/GMSLA)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Language & Other Skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and one other major Asian language (Chinese/Korean/Japanese). Knowledge of Spanish would be an advantage.

  • Experience with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg or Capital IQ; programming skills (e.g., Python, VBA) are an advantage
