Join Barclays as an Executive Assistant to Corporate Bank CIO, where you’ll have the chance to support our corporate bank technology team. You will provide high-level administrative support to senior executives, including multi-layered calendar coordination, travel coordination, and meeting logistics, act as a trusted liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders and prepare and handle confidential documents, reports, and presentations. You will also support team operations, including onboarding, event planning, and expense tracking and reporting and anticipate needs, while resolving scheduling and communication inquires. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, global function that powers the future of payments.

To be successful as an Executive Assistant to Corporate Bank CIO, you should have:

  • Extensive experience working as an executive assistant supporting executives within the financial industry

  • Previous budget and expense reimbursement experience

  • Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Minimum Salary: $80,000

Maximum Salary: $115,000

Purpose of the role

To manage the executive's schedule, handling correspondence, preparing presentations and reports, and providing other administrative support as needed. 

Accountabilities

  • Management of senior executive members calendars and overseeing their timely responses to meeting invitations and requests.
  • Planning and arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation, ensuring timely and efficient travel for the executive.
  • Proactively anticipating the needs of the senior executive, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion.
  • Management of day-to-day administrative tasks, such as expenses, maintaining filing systems, and ordering office supplies, annual leave records management, distribution list management and organisation management tasks.
  • Management and facilitation of senior executive members meetings.

  • To perform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently driving continuous improvement.
  • Requires in-depth technical knowledge and experience in their assigned area of expertise
