AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers. Job overview: Experience of driving data quality and reporting automation is key as this will underpin the provision of data-informed insights to the stakeholders, enabling strategic interactions with the business and delivery of category strategies. You'll support the Procurement team in delivering objectives, by creating efficient data capture and utilisation processes. Key responsibilities: Data analysis and reporting with ownership of the procurement reporting timetable to include all reporting to Group, locally within Procurement or the AXA UK business. Youll need to work closely with the Procurement team, the Ops Reporting team and the business to improve data quality, reduce duplication of data sources and collection methods. Drive process improvement by identifying inefficiencies in procurement processes and recommend improvements to enhance effectiveness and compliance. Support the development of existing procurement systems alongside the delivery new solutions by assisting with requirements and implementation as needed. Cost management by assisting in developing budgets, cost forecasts, and savings targets. Manage compliance and risk management by ensuring procurement activities adhere to local procurement & group policies and regulations. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Your skills & experience: Proficiency in analysing large datasets using tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualisation software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Precision in analysing data and ensuring accuracy in reports and recommendations. Ability to identify issues, analyse root causes, and propose effective solutions Understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and financial metrics related to procurement and cost management. Familiarity with procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply chain concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with procurement colleagues, internal teams and Group counterparts to share knowledge and data and work on process improvements Time management, prioritising tasks effectively to meet deadlines, sometimes where there're conflicting priorities.
