Job overview: Youll focus on optimising AXA UKs marketing spend and shaping the future martech landscape in this 6-month fixed-term contract. Youll partner with Enterprise Architecture, Technology, and Procurement teams to review current tools, vendor landscape and develop a strategic vision for marketing technology that balances growth, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Youll assess current martech usability, identifying consolidation and upgrade opportunities, and developing a talent and training plan to support a future-proofed marketing technology ecosystem. Youll also explore opportunities for automation and integration to ensure scalable, customer-centric marketing operations. Key responsibilities: Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Technology, and Procurement teams to develop and articulate a future-state martech vision aligned with business growth and customer needs. Lead quick wins such as a review of current martech capabilities, including usability assessments and tool knowledge and plan to upskill teams on tools and features. Determine resources and initiate reviews for martech consolidation and upgrades to enhance cross-business unit compatibility and unlock AI potential. Enable centralised SMEs (subject matter experts) with consolidated roadmap planning to aid business unit growth, aligned with changes in data and technology. Identify opportunities for automation, integration and process improvements within marketing technology to support scalability and customer experience. Work with Enterprise Architects and Developers to inform technical design and integration approaches. Evaluation and selection of new tools or platforms, considering usability, compatibility and strategic fit. Cultivate a customer-centric culture, champion diversity and inclusion and foster collaboration across functions to break silos. Collaborate with Procurement team to assess vendor landscape and develop strategies to optimise supplier relationships, balancing cost, capability and innovation. Work arrangements: At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. Your skills & experience: Extensive experience with marketing technology platforms, tools, and vendor landscape, preferably from a user perspective in marketing is required. Strong understanding of martech usability, integration, automation, and digital ecosystem design. Significant exposure to transformation, change and experience of working on strategic programmes. Knowledge of cloud-based solutions, vendor management, and technology assessment processes. Architecture or development experience in martech solutions or migrations would be beneficial. Proven ability to develop and execute a future-state martech roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives. Experience in training, capability development, and change management within marketing technology teams. Analytical and strategic thinking for technology assessment and planning.
