Responsibilities: Manage P&C commercial property and liability claims for assigned accounts. Receive, log, and acknowledge new commercial property and liability claims. Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices, aiming for timely settlement. Maintain appropriate and adequate claims reserves to reflect the potential liabilities accurately. Review and examine claims documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, while diligently following up on required information submissions. Maintain accurate, timely claim files in the claims management system. Prepare notes, reports and correspondence. Communicate with insureds, claimants, loss adjusters, solicitors, investigators, recovery agents, and other relevant parties to facilitate thorough investigations, appropriate reserving, and fair settlement. Identify, investigate, and report suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims promptly. Approve or validate claims settlements within the authority limits, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Handle inquiries from insureds, claimants, agents, brokers, and other stakeholders via phone and email with professionalism, providing clear explanations about claim processing, settlement status, or reasons for claim denial. Keep insureds, agents, brokers, underwriters, and relevant parties well-informed about the progress and developments of claims. Prepare and manage claims reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as directed by supervisors or management. Qualifications: Tertiary education or equivalent qualification. 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (e.g. customer service, insurance support roles, or internship). Previous claims or P&C insurance exposure is preferable. Fresh graduates with strong interest and aptitude are welcome. Customer-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional qualifications such as ANZIIF or ACII will be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate) and Chinese Word Processing. Fluent in both written and spoken Cantonese and English.
