We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced office assistant to join our growing advanced delivery legal team in our A&O Shearman office!

Advanced delivery legal team - Belfast

The nature of A&O Shearman's work is increasingly advanced and multi-jurisdictional. Advanced delivery legal (ADL) plays an increasing role in managing and delivering important elements of major litigation cases and transactions. Lawyers working in ADL Belfast apply their knowledge of the law and legal procedures to support A&O Shearman teams around the world.

What you will do

The office assistant will provide a consistently high standard of administrative support to the legal professionals and associates in advanced delivery legal, ensuring that all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner to enable the smooth running of the team's support function. As an office assistant you will support with all matters with regard to finance; business development, travel arrangements and preparation of complex and often confidential documents and presentations.

What you will have
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills both formal and informal and willingness to collaborate with others; Excellent Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint skills;
  • Ability to adapt with flexibility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an environment with shifting priorities, under pressure.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, both within Belfast and remotely with colleagues from London and elsewhere across a wide range of levels, responsibilities and offices.
