Job Purpose/ Role


Great opportunity for secondment! Based in Munich and reporting to the Global People & Culture Head, the Learning & Talent Development role at AZ Reinsurance is responsible for the development and implementation of core processes and activities related to lifelong learning, AI adoption and employee growth & development. This includes the steering of we@Re initiatives and community activities for AZ Re which are aligned with business strategy and AZ Group standards.

 

Key Responsibilities


   Supports the Allianz Re management team and business leaders in strengthening the leadership and functional capabilities in their teams 
   Oversees design and effective delivery of learning and development programs that are aligned to Allianz Re business needs, also assesses their impact. (e.g. AZ Re AI Adoption, Mentoring, Mobility, Executive Assistant Program, we@Re, RI MasterClass)
   Monitors the progress of Allianz Leadership program #LEAD at Allianz Re and is contact person for system-based Learning reporting (Degreed, LMS, etc.)
   Drives our global we@Re initiative and fosters a culture of lifelong learning with focus on AI initiatives along our AI roadmap together with the Data & AI office
   Works closely with HR Business Partners to consult line managers on options to enhance performance and engagement levels in their teams
   Collaborates with Strategic Workforce Planning to roll-out global Skill Management initiative
   Analyzes and proposes approaches to improve mobility within Allianz Re and beyond
   Evaluates and tracks learning KPIs and contributes to the global HR metrics (CSRD) and employee engagement survey (AES)

 


Key Requirements/Skills/Experience


   Minimum 6 years of work experience in HR, ideally Talent Management, Learning or Change Management in a global business environment
   University degree in business psychology, business administration or related studies
   Project management experience, preferably with knowledge of agile methodology
   Confident to work and communicate with multiple senior stakeholders across various areas of the business
   Good knowledge and understanding of concepts, tools and techniques of change and HR management (esp. leadership, cultural/ behavioral change, career management, performance management, T&D)
   Proficient IT and AI Skills (M365, Success Factors, AI tools Copilot/Claude, Degreed, LMS, etc.)
   Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
   Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, can do attitude, growth mindset
   Strong consultative and problem solving approach with good networking and relationship building skills
   Solid conceptual thinking, well-structured methodological approach, effectively leveraging AI and GenAI tools and agents to enhance outcomes
   Ability to learn fast and challenge the status quo
