Junior Regulatory Reporting Operations Officer

Your job

As a Junior Regulatory Reporting Operations Officer, you will support the timely, complete, and accurate submission of regulatory reports in line with regulatory requirements.
You will monitor reporting processes, track responses from trade repositories, and investigate and resolve issues. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience with SQL and internal systems.

Your responsibilities include:
   Monitoring regulatory reporting batches to ensure timely, complete, and accurate submission, including the receipt of trade repository responses
   Investigating discrepancies and missing or delayed data, including performing initial issue analysis
   Working with development teams to identify root causes and support structural improvements
   Acting as a point of contact for internal teams and external parties on reporting-related topics
   Using SQL, Tableau, and internal tools to perform analysis and support reporting oversight
   Supporting process documentation, continuous improvement initiatives, and handling client queries

Working environment

You will join the Regulatory Reporting Support team, a small and hands-on team of four colleagues within Control Operations. The team works closely together to ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting, with a strong focus on collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
ABN AMRO Clearing is a global player in clearing and related services, focused on optimizing performance and delivering value to clients and stakeholders. Control Operations ensures the integrity of the clearing business by maintaining accurate data in core systems and enabling reliable reporting and reconciliations.

Your profile

   You are at an early stage of your career (02 years) with a Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
   You are proficient in English (required)
   You are analytical, detail-oriented, and have a strong problem-solving mindset with an affinity for IT
   You are a clear communicator who collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders
   You have basic SQL knowledge (required)

Nice to have:
   Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks (EMIR, SFTR, CPR, SRO)
