As Principal Product Manager for Brazil you will define the vision for all payments flows in Brazil and enhance Wise's infrastructure to make international transfers feel as seamless as local payments. You will own features across adding, converting, sending and spending money and drive growth and revenue for core products. The role requires deep payments experience (PIX, international debit/credit cards), technical fluency to engage with engineers, and a hands-on approach to analytics and customer research. You will also hire, coach and mentor junior product managers and lead cross-functional teams in an agile fintech environment.

As our Principal Product Manager for Brazil, you will be responsible for defining the vision for all the payments flows for our Wise in Brazil, enhancing our infrastructure to make international transfers feel as seamless as local payments, including adding, converting, sending and spending money. Driving growth and revenues via our main core feature.
This role will give you the opportunity to:
Choose your path to impact. We believe people are most empowered when they can act autonomously. So rather than telling you what to do, you’ll work with your team to create a vision of your own. Of course, you can always gather feedback from smart, curious people across Wise but you’ll have the freedom to make your own calls while being accountable for your decisions.
Build money without borders for Brazil. You will be building a product that helps millions of businesses and customers send and receive money from their friends, family and partners to and from Brazil.
Be on the forefront of solving a complex technical challenge. Wise is probably the only company integrated into payment systems of so many countries around the world, and the number will keep on growing. Scaling this infrastructure is a problem very few, if anyone, have solved before. You will be at the forefront of this problem, allowing you to flex your creative muscles to solve global money movement for our customers once and for all. You would most likely end up setting best practices not just for Wise but the industry at large.
Hiring, coaching and mentoring more junior product managers, expanding your team to cover multiple use cases to drive or accelerate growth in Brazil.
What we are looking for:
You have a proven track record in the payments space, specifically with PIX and International Debit/CreditCards, and deeply understand its operational processes, risk management, and vendor landscape.
You have launched a payment method in Brazil or other regions before, bonus points if you have launched open finance and Pix in Brazil.
You possess the technical depth to understand system architecture and engage in detailed, credible discussions with engineers.
You excel at breaking down complex, ambiguous problems into logical, structured components and can articulate their importance to the bigger picture.
You have a bias for action and are hands-on, with clear evidence of diving into analytics, speaking to customers, or writing your own queries to drive projects forward.
You demonstrate the ability to lead without direct authority, effectively aligning teams with conflicting priorities and leveraging expertise from other functions to reach a consensus.
You have experience working in an agile setup within a fintech environment.
You are comfortable analyzing large datasets independently and have experience mentoring junior Product Managers.
