Full Job Description
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Provide general administrative support to partners and lawyers in our Financial Restructuring and Insolvency (FRI) Practice including but not limited to, arranging meetings, booking rooms, handling calls, supporting travel related needs and expense reimbursements.
Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and communications etc. (may be required to liaise directly with clients when organising meetings)
Working with the Billings team in preparation of invoices including liaising with other various business support groups.
Assist set up of new matters on New Business Intake and facilitate conflicts clearance.
Working with the Business Development team in relation to client connections and facilitating regular updates of the CRM database
Plan and organise workflow to comply with established time constraints per request, to ensure to meet deadlines.
Use good judgment at all times; ask follow-up questions if instructions are unclear, efficiently communicate feedback, concerns, issues and workarounds
Skills and experience required:
Experience in supporting lawyers and professional support lawyers in a law firm is preferred
Knowledge of billing systems (i.e 3e) and expense management systems
Familiarity with MS Office, especially MS Word (including typing and formatting) and PowerPoint.
Experience booking both domestic and international travel preferred.
Professional telephone manner.
Excellent organisation and time management.
Good judgement asks questions and strong communication skills.
High level of integrity and diligence.
Ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
