Our Global Operating Center located in Manila is pivotal to enhancing the Firms operational efficiency and streamlining legal and business services support across our global network. Our center provides comprehensive administrative, financial and operational services across office operations, compliance and new business, finance, technology, human resources, innovation and marketing. By centralizing these critical functions, the center ensures consistency and quality in service delivery while reducing operational costs. Through its integrated approach, our Global Operating Center enables the Firm to focus on its core legal services, drive global growth and maintain high standards of client service across all offices.

Position Summary

The Learning and Development Advisor is responsible for providing support in the development and execution of a learning and development initiatives that meets the most critical needs of the organization. The role requires significant collaboration with Center of Expertise (CoE) and Aligned HR Operations in managing training events and administering them in the Firms Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Duties and Accountabilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties listed below. These requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill and ability required for the position.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in understanding all aspects of the training administration and other L&D-related services that are offered to the wider L&D team, vendors, and employees of the Firm. Handles complex and highly sensitive learning events that are time sensitive and requires deeper understanding of the process such as:
  • Escalation point around training administration that requires thorough research, coordinate with vendors, COEs and SMEs when necessary to provide sound recommendation to employees, and act as POC of their designated region should there be any business disruptions
  • Builds reports and dashboards used to measure team capacity and capability as well as end user adaptability to the process.
  • Serve as support in process training of new hires, upskilling of existing team members, and initiate process improvement aligned to global standards
  • Represent the team on process improvement meetings and actively participate in stakeholder meetings for various L&D projects and initiatives
  • Effectively manage the teams mailboxes and the Case Management Tool, assist HROD L&D Manager in triaging and assigning simple to complex cases to Lead and organize the team in functional testing for configuration changes, system upgrades/enhancements, and patches.
  • Keep track of Work Instructions updates, ensuring each are reviewed by the process owners on a quarterly basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience related to the role
  • Customer Service skills required for the position
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal and ability to work at all levels
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools used for analysis and presentation of data, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Access and MS Visio.
  • Amenable to work in rotating shifts (APAC, EMEA and Americas time zones), Hybrid set-up

Essential Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of HR Administration work experience gained from working in an HR environment
  • 3 to 5 years of BPO / HR Shared Services work experience in either HR Operations and HR Systems role particular to learning management systems (LMS), from a multinational, blue-chip, professional, or financial services organization
  • Experience in using case management systems (ServiceNow)
  • Experience in using HR/ learning management systems (LMS)
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new functional concepts quickly and work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to collaborate and actively contribute to a strong team environment, yet able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Client-focused attitude. Experience providing client service to internal and external clients
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities with competing priorities and strict deadlines. Must have the ability to re-prioritize work as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the firm
  • Strong attention to detail
