Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Analytics Consultant, as part of the Technology Management and Resiliency group.

The Senior Lead Analytics Consultant is a senior-level expert responsible for leveraging advanced data analytics to solve complex business challenges and influence enterprise-wide strategies. This role focuses on creating metrics, reports, and actionable insights to support decision-making across diverse areas such as workforce, vendor, engineering, risk, strategy, and investment portfolio.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence analytical strategies for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring analytical application of industry techniques and advanced data from multiple sources across the enterprise
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, and require vision, innovation, and coordination of highly complex activities
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and legal regulations and policies on all projects managed
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading large-scale analytics and data transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Strong experience engaging executive stakeholders, including delivering clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into analytics solutions that drive measurable performance and financial outcomes
  • Expertise in advanced analytics and data tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, SAS) with hands-on experience in deep-dive analysis and data mining
  • Proficiency in data visualization and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks) to develop interactive dashboards and reporting frameworks
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks, building business cases, and quantifying the financial impact of strategic initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align analytics initiatives to enterprise goals, risk considerations, and regulatory/compliance needs
  • Excellent communication, analytical curiosity, and ability to navigate ambiguity while influencing stakeholders and driving enterprise-wide outcomes
