About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Product Management Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in low to moderate complexity data product initiatives and identify opportunities for data roadmap improvements within scope of responsibilities that drive data enablement and capabilities across platforms and utilities
  • Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives to drive low to moderate-risk data enablement strategies, roadmaps, and deliverables
  • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex data product situations, and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in data, analytics, and integration needs of line of business partners that impact prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design
  • Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and prioritization and ensure data product solutions are built for optimal performance
  • Manage low to moderate-complexity datasets continuously focusing on the consumers of the data and their business needs, while adhering to set data governance and standards
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of data product roadmaps with detailed specifications, requirements, and flows for data capabilities
  • Gather data requirements and document data needs from a variety of sources throughout the data product life cycle
  • Communicate low to moderate complexity data problems and initiatives in a digestible manner to all audiences


Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data product or data management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience working with data pipelines, reporting tables, and analytical datasets.
  • Strong handson experience with SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven ability to operate in large, matrixed organizations with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with leadershipready outputs.


Job Expectations:

  • Handson exposure to cloud data platforms (GCP preferred) and migration programs.
  • Experience in marketing data analysis.
  • Familiarity with data governance and consent frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery models
  • Prior experience mentoring or acting as a lead IC across multiple pods.
  • Operates with high ownership and accountability for assigned products.
  • Makes informed tradeoffs and decisions with limited oversight.
  • Proactively communicates risks, status, and outcomesno surprises.
  • Consistently delivers highquality, welldocumented data products.
  • Raises the overall effectiveness of the team through mentorship and standards.
