Full Job Description
In this Role You Will:
- Provide advanced Tier 3 technical infrastructure, DevOps and engineering support for complex issues escalated from other support and technical service teams.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to ensure uptime, reliability, and compliance with SLAs.
- Serve as an escalation point for Azure implementation-related challenges.
- Is a key participant in new feature development from an implementation perspective, working closely with leadership and occasionally product and engineering teams.
- Contribute to documentation, automation scripts, and internal knowledge sharing for continuous improvement.
- Engage in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned.
What It Takes:
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 8+ years of cloud engineering experience, with at least 4 years working in Azure environments.
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- In-depth understanding of Windows administration, hyperconverged technologies, networking, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Skilled in building infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, or Azure Resource Manager templates.
- Thorough knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Exceptional troubleshooting abilities in cloud infrastructure, networking, security best practices, and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Specializations That Will Make an Impact:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
- Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud platforms.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience leading and mentoring staff and technical support teams.
- Experience with production readiness review processes.
