As a Licensed Financial Services Representative, you will support Vanguards Personal Investor clients by handling complex service and transaction requests through chat and written channels only (no inbound phone calls). This role is designed for currently licensed financial professionals (SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required prior to start) who are looking to leverage their expertise in a nonphone, digital servicing environment.

As a Licensed Financial Services Representative, you will support Vanguards Personal Investor clients by handling complex service and transaction requests through chat and written channels only (no inbound phone calls). This role is designed for currently licensed financial professionals (SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required prior to start) who are looking to leverage their expertise in a nonphone, digital servicing environment.

You will serve as a trusted resource for clients navigating investment and retirementrelated needs, using your financial knowledge and judgment to resolve inquiries, complete transactions, and provide guidance through secure messaging and chat platforms. This role combines financial services expertise with highvolume digital client support, requiring strong written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client interactions simultaneously.

We are hiring 10 associates across NC, AZ, and PA.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Personal Investor clients through chat, secure message center, and digital messaging channels (no phone work)
  • Respond to requests related to investments, account activity, and retirement products, including executing transactions and resolving complex account issues
  • Apply financial industry knowledge and regulatory understanding to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely client resolutions
  • Use a consultative approach to identify client needs and appropriately position Vanguard products and services
  • Navigate multiple client conversations simultaneously in a highvolume, fastpaced digital environment (chat concurrency required)
  • Conduct research and follow established procedures while exercising judgment in more complex scenarios
  • Accurately document client interactions and identify trends to support continuous service improvements
  • Stay current on Vanguards funds, products, services, and relevant industry regulations
  • Participate in team initiatives, pilot programs, and process improvements

Required Qualifications

  • Active FINRA licenses required prior to start: SIE, Series 7, and Series 63
  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in financial services, investments, or retirement support
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Proven ability to work in a nonphone, digital client servicing environment or strong written communication skills transferable to chat/email service

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting clients via chat, email, or secure message platforms in a regulated environment
  • Prior experience in brokerage, advisory, or retirement services roles
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent client interactions while maintaining accuracy and quality

Work Model

This role follows a hybrid schedule and requires onsite presence in a Vanguard office (NC, AZ, or PA) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
